At Quintessential Cane Corso, our dedication to dogs extends far beyond our own breeding program. We proudly offer training services for all breeds, because every dog—large or small, working or companion—deserves clear communication, structure, and the opportunity to thrive.
Our private obedience lessons provide personalized, one‑on‑one coaching tailored to each dog’s unique needs and temperament. For families seeking more consistent support, our day‑training program offers structured learning throughout the day, helping dogs build manners, confidence, and reliability in real‑world environments. We also offer board‑and‑train programs, giving dogs the chance to stay with us temporarily while receiving focused, professional training that lays a strong foundation for long‑term success at home.
As we continue to grow, we’re excited to expand our services with IGP helper training, coming soon and Conformation Show Handling & training. This addition reflects our commitment to supporting working and sport‑driven dogs and helping owners explore their dog’s full athletic potential through structured, ethical training.

for a smoother transition home.

Day Training Program
Our Day Training program offers a balanced alternative to traditional board and train programs and private lessons. It reduces the owner's workload while allowing your dog to remain with you daily, rather than being away for extended periods. Your pet will attend Quintessential Cane Corso for the day, taking part in a minimum of three individual training sessions.

We are pleased to offer AKC show handling services on a limited, hobby-based basis for select conformation events throughout Florida and, occasionally, the broader Southeast region. While we are not professional handlers, we bring genuine passion, hands‑on experience, and a deep understanding of canine structure and presentation—especially within the Cane Corso breed.
Our handling availability is selective and seasonal, as we participate in shows for the enjoyment of the sport and the opportunity to help quality dogs shine in the ring. If you’re seeking a handler who values patience, communication, and breed‑appropriate presentation, we’re happy to discuss whether your dog may be a good fit for our schedule.

An IGP helper (sometimes called a decoy or helper) is the trained individual who works the dog during the protection phase of the IGP sport. Their role is far more technical than simply “catching” a dog—they are responsible for building confidence, maintaining control, and ensuring fair, safe, and correct work for every dog they handle.
A good helper isn’t trying to “fight” the dog—they’re helping the dog learn to work with confidence, clarity, and control. Their job is to bring out the dog’s best qualities while staying within the rules and structure of the sport.
